COVID-19 Vaccine: My Great Uncle and Aunt's Story
COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted the Black community. At the same time, medical injustices where life saving measure were withheld, like Tuskegee, have broken the trust in the system. In order to repair that, and heal generational wounds, we must do RIGHT by those very people. Here, My Great Uncle Charlie and Aunt Bert, declare January 11, 2021 their #VDAY, as they received the Pfizer COVID Vaccine. They are known as the Mayor and First Lady of Little Africa and I could not be more proud!
