COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted the Black community. At the same time, medical injustices where life saving measure were withheld, like Tuskegee, have broken the trust in the system. In order to repair that, and heal generational wounds, we must do RIGHT by those very people. Here, My Great Uncle Charlie and Aunt Bert, declare January 11, 2021 their #VDAY, as they received the Pfizer COVID Vaccine. They are known as the Mayor and First Lady of Little Africa and I could not be more proud!

COVID-19 Vaccine: My Grandmother's Story
My Grandmother, Louise Miller, in 81yrs young and FULL of life. She was literally working full time until I had to practically beg her to retire in April 2020 due to the pandemic. She retired out of love of us, her family, and love of life. Today was her first step towards keeping herself safe. January 22, 2021 will forever be known as her #VDay as she received the #PfizerCOVIDvaccine.
